Gallery of Space:
Mars mania!

Everyone knows that Mars is at its closest approach to Earth today, so I had to provide a shot of this planet. Mars is the brightest object in the night sky now, visible in the Eastern sky just after sunset, and highest overhead in the wee hours of the morning (when you'll get your best telescopic views).

This "movie" is a montage of several images taken every five minutes by Jefferson Teng in good ol' Bellevue, Washington.
